A celebration of Excellence in Food, Music and Culture
The Jamaica Epicurean Escape is an annual event that celebrates excellence in Jamaica’s food, music and culture. This two-day event showcases the most celebrated chefs in Jamaica along with the young and upcoming who have stood out from the rest in their field.
The objective of the Jamaica Epicurean Escape is to showcase the best of Jamaica’s food, music and culture, while paying tribute to the international influences that have come together to create what the world now knows and loves as Jamaican.
The home of the festival is Grizzly’s Plantation Cove, an ideal location with beautiful and picturesque ground, caressed by waves of the Caribbean Sea. Its position in the centre of the island’s North Coast makes it easily accessible from one end of the island to another. Additionally, it is only minutes away from over 6,000 rooms in the surrounding areas of Ocho Rios, Discovery Bay and Runaway Bay, making it easily accessible to tourists as well as locals.
The festival positively impact the national economy creating the opportunity for a significant amount of rentals and sales of equipment and services in the event industry. In its first year the event injected over $30,000,000 into the food, beverage and event services industries by virtue of products and services used at the event
In 2012 the Festival featured some of Jamaica’s finest including Chef Ravi Anne, Chef Dennis McIntosh, Chef Theo Smith, Chef Daniel Schwietzer, Chef Christopher Evans and many more.
