Marcia McDonnough, Festival Manager
With an MBA from the University of New Orleans Marcia has over 30 years of experience in the travel, tourism, hospitality and entertainment industries. Her strengths lie in management and marketing with emphasis on event management. As sponsorship manager for the two largest Festivals in Jamaica (Reggae Sumfest and Jamaica Jazz and Blues), she has developed important relationships with the major corporate decision makers in the local community as well as some international players
Maxine McDonnough, Communications Manager
Maxine brings to the table over 30 years of experience in the area of research and publications and public relations. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies with an honours degree in English and post-graduate diploma in Mass Communications. Her work with two of the island’s leading communications agencies Creative Projects and CGR Communications, allowed Maxine to provide public relations and consulting services for some of the nation’s and region’s foremost corporations.
Michael Creary, Site and Services Manager
Mike, a former computer engineer and business owner, was educated and Munroe College and the University of the West Indies. With strong space management skills and meticulous attention to detail, he brings order and logic to the team. He has years of experience in the venue layout and set up of various business locations as well as entertainment venues. In addition to designing the venue for the Jamaica Epicurean Escape he has also worked on large events such as the Jamaica Jazz and Blues. Mike is also the designer of the event website.
Robert Bryan, Production Manager
Robert brings to the project years of experience in the food industry as well as the entertainment industry. Owner of Grizzly's Entertainment and Grizzly's Plantation Cove, the home of the festival, Robert brings much to the table in terms of infrastructure and equipment. His experience in working with large scale events is unsurpassed having held positions such as Project Director for the Jamaica 50 secretariat, Tournament Director for the International Cricket Council, Executive Director for ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 and many more. Robert was awarded the Order of Distinction Commander Class (CD) by the government of Jamaica in October 2007 for his work done on the staging of the ICC World Cup Cricket.
Adrian Creary, Official Photographer and Graphics Designer
Adrian brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in event photography to the table. He is also responsible for the development and management of the image and festival brand. Adrian is in charge of designing all artwork and graphic treatments for the festival. Adrian's portfolio of work includes official photographer and graphics designer for Jamaica Jazz and Blues, Official photographer for Reggae Sumfest as well as being responsible for the publicity photos for many of the large corporations.
